Shrimps Baked with Salt
As you have noticed so far, shrimps are one of my favorite seafood. Believe it or not, the cooking technology we are going to use today originated from Mongolians, who used to store their food on salt and bake them as they were, because the salt keeps the moisture in. Shrimps are the perfect choice for this type of baking because their shell does not allow the salt to penetrate.

- 600 gr Shrimps
- 1 kg Rock Salt
- 25 ml Alcohol
Preparing the Dish
To prepare the dish, we need a baking pan. In the baking pan, pour 1/4th of salt and start arranging the shrimps. After all the shrimps are perfectly arranged, add the other remaining salt to the baking pan.
Be careful not to rearrange the shrimps when adjusting the salt. It is important for the salt to be rock salt. If rock salt is not available, use normal salt but mix it with eggs first. For every 200 gr of salt, use 1 egg.
Preheat the oven at 220C(430F). Cook the shrimps for approximately 18 minutes. For presentation purposes, you can put cooking alcohol on top of the shrimps, after they are baked. Light up the fire and get ready to take the most amazing food video you have ever taken.
